Pillows are not just used as a headrest, it's also a great way to add some colors and contrast in a room.

A new thing is the 'ring-pillow' for weddings, I found heaps of designers custom making the small but yet so important pillow for the big day, it goes in all colors and sizes with a common detail, the ribbon in the middle, tying the rings to it making it safe not to loose the gems on the way up to the alter.

Whether your young at heart or have a different taste pillows will remain a budget way to top up your home and it's harmless to experiment with rather than hitting the wallpaper or paint-shop changing colors on walls or floor, a pillow/pillows can easily change the look of a room. Remember to not mix to much as the focus on one designs quickly disappears in a all to cluttered existence. I personally like the 'old' looking mega sized pillows with a durable surface, the small lined cord or velvety feel..Of course depending on season and which mood I'm in, for spring I always preffer lighter fresher colors and it always seems like navy with it's white and navy blue stripes and creamy lace appeals to me. For autumn and rainy days I feel like snuggle up and darker colors feels more natural. So here is my picks splitted up under Spring/Summer Pillows and Autumn/Winter Pillows!
